Hushabye Nursery
The opioid epidemic in America is a crushing reality compelling The NARBHA Institute and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona to help fund a unique new care model of trauma-informed best practices serving the entire family. Hushabye Nursery is a 12-bed inpatient nursery providing residential treatment for infants experiencing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and mothers impacted with a Substance Use Disorder. The model offers a compassionate environment with 24/7 neonatal oversight and the expertise of neonatal and behavioral health experts with a goal of minimizing pharmacological intervention, strengthening life skills, reducing stigma, and enhancing maternal-child health.
