The Lullaby Project
As a part of advancing wellbeing and through a partnership with Carnegie Hall and the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, The Lullaby Project aligns professional musicians with expectant mothers and families to write a personal lullaby to help strengthen the bond between parent and child. The first Lullaby Project took place in Bronx, NY and since that time 2800 lullabies have been written. Each lullaby is unique and celebrates the mother’s hopes and dreams for her baby. The simple and intimate lullaby offers the family creativity, communication, connection, and optimism for the future. The Guidance Center and Summit School offer their services to expectant mothers and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Community Reinvestment supports the program.
