John Ryan Kivela, MA
John Ryan Kivela is the Director of Health Care Analytics for The Alliance Accountable Care Organization. His goal is to exercise the considerable data resources of the healthcare industry to promote data-driven decision making for the welfare of Alliance recipients. An experienced Medicaid health plan director, Ryan led the implementation of the State Opioid Response, bringing treatment and prevention resources to those afflicted by opioid use disorders. In addition to this, he oversaw the implementation of the Emergency COVID grant, a federal grant that supported clinician wellbeing at Federally Qualified Health Centers. Ryan is a lifelong outdoorsman and an avid surfer. Ryan is currently enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Boston, College of Management, where he plans to complete his Master of Business Administration in the Spring of 2024.
