Gabriel Yaiva
Strategy
Gabriel Yaiva is Dine’ and Hopi, a father, a husband, and comes from the Reed Arrow People and was born into the Eagle clan. His maternal grandparents are of the Coyote Pass people originally of Jemez Pueblo and paternal grandparents are of the Bear clan from Third Mesa in Hopi. Gabe leads the Traditional Practitioners Program and the Tribal Affairs Liaison for The NARBHA Institute. He is also a consultant, a community activist, a business owner, a musician, and traditional hand drum singer and is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a BS in Applied Indigenous Studies.
