Keith Frey has recently retired from a forty-year career as a primary care physician, a physician executive, an educator, and a mentor/coach. Passionate about clinician well-being and leadership attributes that support healthy and functional clinical cultures, he currently serves as a healthcare consultant and strategic thought leader. His certifications include Hogan Personality Assessment Systems, the John Maxwell Team coaching program, and Stanford University’s Chief Wellness Officer. During his four-decade career, Keith earned the distinction of a Phoenix Top Doctor and worked extensively in program development, healthcare team leadership, and technology project management. He achieved a full professor ranking at five top-tier academic institutions and also held highly successful leadership roles at Duke University, Providence Health, Mayo Clinic, and Dignity Health. After completing his undergraduate work at Virginia Military Institute, he earned a Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia and an MBA at Duke University.
