Flo Spyrow, M.S.N. / M.H.A., J.D.
Fellow since 2023
Flo Spyrow began her career in a neonatal intensive care unit that served patients from across Oregon and southern Washington. She spent the next thirty years in health system administration and added a law degree to her credentials, but the memory of those parents who looked to her for hope and faith never faded. After working for a decade as in-house counsel to a large health system, she assumed CEO leadership of Northern Arizona Healthcare. The moment her only son received a devastating diagnosis of glioblastoma multiforme set her on a journey that changed her perspective on patient-centered care and the need for kindness in every “touch” of the healthcare system. She hopes to influence a systemwide commitment to compassionate care and reinvestment in our valued healthcare workers.
